Greenvolt is seeking a Junior Electrical Procurement Specialist to support the Procurement team in the execution of the purchasing processes for electrical components and infrastructure projects. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with supplier research, preparing documentation for tenders, and tracking orders for electrical materials. You will help with the administrative management of contracts and contribute to the coordination of activities related to substations, ICPs (Interface Control Points), and grid connection works, always under the supervision of the Procurement Management.
Key accountabilities
Development & Strategy
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and project forecasts for various categories, working closely with technical teams and supporting CAPEX assumptions.
- Contribute to the analysis of project requirements and help identify cost‑saving opportunities.
Market Screening & Supplier Management
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance, flagging risks and opportunities to senior team members.
- Proactively research and identify potential suppliers, helping to expand the supplier network.
Procurement Process
- Lead or support, with the coordination of the manager on the execution of RFIs, RFPs/RFQ, sole sourcing or bid process to evaluate supplier and/or product options, following a competitive process, including but not limited, to:
- RFP drafting – Definition and Execution of the terms/requirements
- Bidder list definition and pre‑qualification process
- Coordination of technical inputs according project deadlines
- Pivotal role involving key areas, as Legal, Compliance, Risk, EHS, etc
- Support and/or lead on contract and commercial negotiation
- Proposal assessmentSupport on the awarding recommendation following project and Company requirements
- Others
- Management of orders with suppliers, ensuring reliability in the information in terms of dates, quantity and prices.
- Providing information to other stakeholders and collaborators in the supply chain.
- Updated order portfolio within the required frequency.
- Providing support contract management support (when applicable) during the execution of the project
Reporting
- Reporting the Procurement Process to the direct manager following specific and/or Group guidelines (EHS, Compliance, Risk, etc)
- Suppliers’ benchmark reporting (when applicable: e.g. supplier´s factory, industry fairs, others)
Qualifications
- University degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related is required.
- Complimentary studies in procurement, stocks or logistics is a plus.
- At least 1 year of significant/recent experience within Construction Procurement (renewable sector is highly preferred)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Proactivity.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work on different projects at the same time (multitasking).
- Experience with metrics creation and data presentation.Experience of improving processes.
- Experience in a fast‑paced multi‑national environment.
- Willingness to travel (expected min. 15%-20%).
