Overview

We’re hiring a Director of Operations for Morocco for a leading international industrial group, reporting directly to the Global Industrial Director.

Role Overview: As Director of Operations for Morocco, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational activities across multiple production sites located in Morocco. Your mission will be to ensure operational excellence, drive continuous improvement, and support the implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives at a local level. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and report directly to the Global Industrial Director.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate operations across all Moroccan sites, ensuring alignment with global standards and objectives.
• Drive efficiency, productivity, and quality improvements in all operational processes.
• Manage and develop local teams, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
• Oversee the execution of cross-functional projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments (engineering, supply chain, quality, etc.) to support business growth and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations management within industrial environments (manufacturing, engineering, chemicals, etc.).
• Strong track record leading cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Experience managing multiple sites or large-scale projects or project management experience is highly valued.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international context and adapt to changing priorities.

Location

Based in Valencia, Sevilla, or other major Spanish cities.

Travel

Availability to travel frequently to Morocco is essential.

Languages

Fluent Spanish and English required; French is a strong plus.
