Corporate Finance in Spain

Within its Investment Banking division, the Bank offers financial advisory services in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Capital Markets transactions to corporations and entrepreneurs. The Bank focuses on a mid-market segment, with particular emphasis on cross-border opportunities between Portugal and Spain or involving investors from other global geographies.

In the context of its growth strategy, the Bank intends to recruit a seasoned professional to act as Director for the Corporate Finance team based in Madrid, who will be responsible for leading the business in the Spanish market, in coordination with the Lisbon-based senior team.

Job Description

The Corporate Finance Director to be recruited will lead and actively manage the origination and execution of Corporate Finance mandates in Spain and perform the following functions :

• Originate new business opportunities;
• Proactively identify and establish contacts and access points to new mid-market corporations in Spain, C-suite executives and entrepreneurs;
• Design, review and present pitchbooks and proposals to potential clients;
• Manage and execute M&A and capital markets mandates, all the while establishing best practice standards in terms of quality, calendar, client service and compliance;

Train, develop and lead the expansion of the local Madrid-based team.
