Position Overview

We are seeking a

Digital Media Producer & Video Editor

who can transform raw recordings into compelling educational content. This person will help produce long-form podcast and YouTube videos while also creating short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts that drives awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in video editing, an eye for storytelling, and familiarity with science or premedical content.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce podcast episodes and professional YouTube content.
• Create engaging short-form clips from podcast episodes and YouTube content optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Add supporting visuals, graphics, and animations that simplify complex science concepts.
• Edit videos for our video courses.
• Collaborate with content creators and directors to ensure all videos are high-quality, consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
• Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized, strategic campaigns for social media.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Stay current with video and social media trends to maximize engagement.
• Meet publishing timelines to ensure consistent delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a video editor, digital media producer, or content creator (portfolio required).
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects, or comparable tools.
• Understanding of social media marketing and content optimization strategies.
• Background or comfort with science / education topics is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
• Creative eye for pacing, visuals, and audience engagement.
• Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or graphic design.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time remote position

• Work hours are flexible, but you must be able to meet project deadlines and collaborate with the marketing and content teams in real time as needed.
• Salary $3000 / 40k per year
