A global leader in animal nutrition is seeking a Demand Planner in Tres Cantos, Spain. You will create and improve demand forecasts, ensuring collaboration across Sales and Operations. Ideal candidates have a university degree in Supply Chain or related fields and 3–5 years of experience. Strong analytical skills and fluency in both Spanish and English are required. What you’ll do

Reporting to the Supply Chain Planning team, you’ll be responsible for creating and improving demand forecasts across various product types, brands, and channels. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth monthly forecasting process and contribute to the S&OP cycle. You’ll:

  • Prepare and maintain 18-month demand forecasts using statistical models and stakeholder input.
  • Gather and analyze market data, sales plans, promotions, and trends to inform forecasting.
  • Facilitate monthly demand meetings and drive consensus with Sales & Marketing.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and key customer planning teams.
  • Alert stakeholders to stock risks and support optimal inventory planning.
  • Participate in projects to improve forecast reliability and planning tools.
Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and ready to Own this role. Someone with a passion for data, planning, and continuous improvement. You’ll also need:

  • A university degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics or similar.
  • 3–5 years of experience in demand planning or a comparable role.
  • Experience with S&OP/IBP, ideally in the animal feed or FMCG industry.
  • Strong ERP and Excel skills (Infor M3 and DMP knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
