Overview

Database Administrator DB2 (zOS) - Virtual Amazing Opportunity and Great Place to Work! Are you a keen problem solver?

In this role, you will be responsible for zOS DB2 system, application object and program product installation and management. Disaster recovery for the DB2 system and application objects is also required. Maintain and create the processes and procedures by which tasks/duties are performed.

US Citizenship requirements – as this role supports services provided to the federal government and/or a federal government contractor, proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at time of hire.

Responsibilities
  • Providing DB2 Database design and Implementation
  • Performing SQL coding & tuning
  • Doing DB2 configuration and planning
  • Identifying problem determination & diagnosis
  • Providing Level 2 /3 support for all DB2 for zOS issues
  • Participating Disaster Recovery
  • Providing off-hour support, 7x24 coverage
Requirements
  • 5+ years minimum of z/OS DB2 DBA.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of DB2 for zOS functions and features.
  • Maintain application life cycle management & participation in application DB2 object design.
  • Administer DB2 Version 13 or 12 for DB2
  • Demonstrate experience with REXX programming skills
  • Have completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher educational attainment.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum: 95,000.00 USD

Maximum: 130,000.00 USD

Pay Transparency Statement: Alight considers a variety of factors in determining whether to extend an offer of employment and in setting the appropriate compensation level, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s experience, education, certification/credentials, market data, internal equity, and geography.
