Responsibilities
- As a Customer Service Representative – Part Time, you will support day-to-day airport operations across check-in, gate, baggage services, and flight coordination. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a high standard of customer service, even under challenging stress, operational, or weather conditions.
- Assist passengers at check-in, boarding, arrival, and baggage service areas
- Operate check-in systems, issue boarding passes, manage bookings and special service requests
- Handle delayed or mishandled baggage reports, provide updates, and ensure proper resolution
- Support flight coordination and aircraft turnaround, including on-time performance monitoring, communication with ramp, gate, ops, maintenance, and crew, and coordination with station vendors and internal departments to ensure efficient operations
- Work both indoors and outdoors, often under extreme heat, cold, or rain
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance according to United’s uniform and grooming standards
- Follow all safety procedures, comply with airport, and company regulations
Note: This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma, ESO or equivalent required
- Must have a professional and neat appearance in line with United’s uniform standards
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Proven customer service experience in high-paced environments
- Ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and stand or walk for long periods
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold on the ramp
- Computer literacy required: Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and internal reservation systems
- Must be legally authorized to work in Spain without sponsorship
- Must be available to work any shift (including nights, weekends, and holidays) as part of a 24/7 operation
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to travel to the U.S. for training if required
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
- Successful completion of interview and selection process required
