Overview

Remote job for a German-speaking Customer Service Agent. Digital Customer Care Company in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, is seeking people with a high level of German for a varied remote agent role.

What we do

For our clients, we proactively greet website visitors, help them find information, and support decisions via live chat, phone, email, and other channels (including WhatsApp). Our clients operate in automotive, fashion, IT, industrial, e-commerce, travel, and education sectors. Outsourcing customer service allows clients to focus on core activities.

Agent role

Agents deliver excellent customer service across multiple channels, communicate professionally, build relationships, and contribute to a positive customer experience. The role requires fast thinking, multitasking, and responsibility, with support from team leaders and a dedicated support team.

About the work

You will answer customer questions about products and services. After training, you will gain product knowledge and handle up to three chats simultaneously, answer phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages, consult various systems, and enter contact details in our systems.

Flexibility

Work online when clients’ websites receive visitors. Hours can include day, evening, and weekend shifts. Amsterdam time hours are 7:00–24:00, Monday to Sunday. Minimum 30 hours per week. Training requires availability during office hours. This is a long-term role with at least 12 months commitment.

Your duties and responsibilities
  • Be responsible for care of German-speaking customers, resolve issues, answer questions, and listen to feedback.
  • Work under a team leader to deliver results in customer service.
  • Serve small and large companies based on complexity and service level.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through different channels.
Daily activities
  • Communicate with customers, answer questions, and generate leads.
  • Email leads and escalations to clients, process refunds and returns in ecommerce systems.
