We are seeking a passionate and talented individual to join us as a Country Procurement Buyer. This role involves deploying effective Category Management Strategies at the country level, collaborating with Category Managers at Head Office and the Africa Strategic Business Unit, and identifying local sourcing opportunities to enhance business performance.

• Mapping and assessing local sourcing to inform and enrich Category Management Strategies
• Ensuring efficient deployment of Category Management Strategies as the main point of contact with suppliers during execution
• Managing local purchases outside of Category Management, including scouting, tendering, contracting, and supplier relationship management
• Overseeing Material TCO and budgeting
• Managing supplier relationships, including performance monitoring via KPIs, service levels, and risk management
• Vendor homologation and master data management in ERP for all categories at the country level
• Driving efficiency projects
• Executing innovation initiatives

Requirements

• Educational background, experience, and language skills aligned with the role
• University degree or engineering diploma
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role within international markets and multinational companies, including import management
• Fluency in English and French
• Valuable knowledge in packaging
