Overview

Corporate Affairs and Transactional Legal Director based in Madrid, reporting to the General Counsel. Lead high-impact legal initiatives across all markets, focusing on corporate governance, M&A, capital markets, and strategic growth projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute strategic legal projects related to organic and inorganic growth, including M&A, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
  • Act as lead counsel in due diligence, negotiation, closing, and integration phases of transactions.
  • Advise the Board and Management Team on legal risks and strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company in regulatory and governmental matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish and international legal frameworks.
  • Drive legal innovation, digitization, and simplification initiatives.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing legal team.
Qualifications
  • Licensed to practice law in Spain (mandatory).
  • University degree in Law (Master’s or equivalent preferred).
  • 10+ years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
