A leading software firm in the energy sector is seeking a Global Events Specialist to manage and coordinate digital, in-person, and hybrid events across the EMEA and APAC regions. This role requires 2-3 years of B2B event marketing experience, strong project management skills, and fluent English. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, able to multitask, and willing to collaborate in a fast-paced environment. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Overview

Quorum is seeking a Global Events Specialist (Contract) to join our marketing events team on a 6-7 month contract. Global Events Specialist will oversee the planning, logistics, coordination, and project ownership for digital, in-person, and hybrid Quorum branded events and industry-related engagements for the EMEA and APAC segments. This position works closely with the segment leadership for EMEA and APAC, other marketing team members, subject matter experts, business development, and sales executives in a global environment to execute strategic, impactful events and experiences. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage third-party industry events and sponsorships, including scheduling, logistics, staffing, contractors, budget management, and timelines.
  • Own all pre and post event activities and serve as cross-functional team lead.
  • Track and measure event outcomes, providing reporting and lessons learned to inform future opportunities.
  • Provide hand-on support for industry tradeshows, Quorum hosted events, and regional events.
  • Own and manage multiple projects and events simultaneously, ensuring clear and proactive communication to meet deadlines.
  • Support regional webinars through GoToWebinar by coordinating speaker dry runs, managing the technical delivery, and pre and post webinar activities.
  • Some travel required.
  • And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in B2B event marketing and coordination, including conferences, tradeshows, and sponsorships.
  • A team player who is highly communicative and collaborative with others both inside and outside the organization.
  • Willingness to take initiative and bring new ideas and solutions to the table.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to dive in and work hard is a must. You will be part of a dynamic global team of marketers who are the best at what they do and enjoy creating, collaborating, and executing on new and innovative ideas for growth.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Experience within an integrated marketing team a plus
  • Proficiency in using Cvent or similar event management software and tools
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tool a plus
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Experience with GoToWebinar or similar webinar platform a plus
Additional Details
  • Visa Sponsorship : Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Spain is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate will be required to ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits that grant employment eligibility where applicable.
