We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Manager for the Spanish market. This role is key to enhancing our brand presence in Spain by driving community engagement and crafting cross‑functional content that amplifies our brand voice across multiple platforms and markets.

In this role, you will work closely with the Social Media Manager and with the Content Creator Designer, the Marketing Specialist and Affiliate Manager for Spain. Your work will strengthen our brand presence in Spain by engaging the community and producing content that resonates across different business units.

Mission :

As a Community Manager for the Spanish market, your mission is to build and nurture an engaged digital community. You'll drive innovative social media strategies, create compelling content, and foster authentic connections that enhance our brand and enrich the travel experience.

Main responsibilities :
  • Oversee the daily operational management of Heymondo’s social media channels (Instagram, Threads, TikTok and Facebook) in Spain, including responding to comments, addressing queries, interacting with the community and publishing engaging content.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy in collaboration with the Social Media Manager, ensuring creative and transversal content is produced for use across various business units.
  • Monitor social media trends and emerging platforms to ensure Heymondo remains at the forefront of digital engagement in Spain.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align social media initiatives with overall marketing strategies.
  • Analyse social media performance metrics and KPIs to optimise content and engagement strategies.
Key activities / responsibilities to perform :
Community Engagement & Social Media Operations
  • Oversee Heymondo’s social media presence in Spain by engaging with the community and managing day‑to‑day interactions.
  • Ensure timely responses to comments and questions across our social media channels.
  • Stay updated on trends on platforms like Instagram and TikTok to keep our content engaging and relevant.
Content Creation & Calendarisation
  • Develop and produce trend‑driven content (videos, IG Stories, carousels) that aligns with platform algorithms and is optimised based on KPI analysis.
  • Plan and schedule content that will be used by the entire marketing team across various business units.
  • Assist in refining content strategies based on performance analysis.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including analysis of TikTok paid campaigns, to ensure continuous improvement of our social media strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for optimisation and suggest improvements to increase engagement.
  • Benchmark the competition on social media to analyse their strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements :
  • Proven experience in social media management or community engagement (2‑3 years).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertisement, Communications or related field.
  • Native like level of Spanish. English is a plus.
  • Heavy user of Instagram and TikTok with a deep understanding of platform trends.
  • Excellent Spanish writing skills and storytelling ability.
  • Passionate about travel and knowledgeable about industry trends.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, managing dual responsibilities across community management and content planning.
  • Creative, proactive and organised mindset.
  • Proficient in using Canva, CapCut and AI tools (Gemini or ChatGpt).
A plus :
  • Experience with Paid Meta and TikTok Ads campaigns.
  • Experience covering events on social media.

Schedule

Full Time

Flexible hours (7.5 hours a day)

100% Remote (we have a very nice office right next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona in case you want to work from there too)

All candidates must reside in Spain with valid documentation to work.
