Your Mission
We are seeking a Communications Manager to develop and execute BlaBlaCar's corporate and consumer communication strategies in Spain, a key market for us. You will collaborate with the Global Communications Team and local leadership to define and implement appropriate positioning and messaging for Spain.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local and international teams to craft a communication strategy aligned with Spain's market needs across various sectors such as business, marketing, branding, and government relations.
- Define and roll out the company's positioning and messaging, balancing headquarters guidance with local insights, primarily with our Head of Marketplace in Spain.
- Develop the B2B and consumer PR strategy supporting company objectives using a diverse channel mix.
- Act as a local spokesperson, conduct media interviews, prepare speaking notes, and craft key messages reflecting communication goals.
- Identify media opportunities, draft press releases, op-eds, and other materials to enhance brand awareness and support business goals.
- Manage the local PR agency to set objectives, gather ideas, and monitor performance.
- Ensure consistent communication across all channels, including PR, marketing, customer service, and government relations.
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in communications and PR, preferably in digital mobility or marketplace industries.
- Fluent in Spanish (spoken and written) and proficient in English.
- Strong expertise in developing communication strategies, including positioning and crisis management.
- Deep knowledge of the Spanish media landscape, including social media.
- Preferred: experience in social media, content creation, and multimedia tools.
- Excellent content creation and messaging skills tailored to target audiences.
- Ability to leverage business insights to craft effective PR strategies.
