A premier youth coaching organization is seeking passionate Falcons Camp Coaches to lead summer football camps for kids aged 5-13. Coaches will create a fun, engaging atmosphere while teaching essential football skills, promoting teamwork, and ensuring safety. Ideal candidates are energetic, love working with children, and are committed to fostering a positive learning environment. This is a seasonal position with a pay rate of $13 per hour, from Monday to Friday.

Coach, Atlanta Falcons Summer Camps: 2025-3492

The Position

Atlanta Falcons Summer Flag Football Camps deliver summer football experiences that kids can’t get at any other summer camp. Designed for ages 5-13, at Falcons Camps, young fans learn the game, celebrate Falcons traditions, and feel the magic of being part of the Atlanta Falcons family. Each day blends football joy, Pro‑Level moments, and unforgettable memories - all designed with intention. Campers build confidence, form friendships, and get exclusive access to the energy, history, and culture of the Falcons.

As a Falcons Camp Coach, you bring energy, enthusiasm, and care to every camp day. You lead small groups of campers through fun, active, age‑appropriate football experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game.

Through encouragement, movement, and positive leadership, you help create an environment where campers feel supported, included, and excited to learn and play, while bringing a Super Bowl‑inspired sense of pride, preparation, and excitement to camp and proudly representing the Falcons on and off the field.

Role Information

• Schedule: Monday‑Friday 7:45 am‑3:30 pm
• Time Commitment: Available for pre‑camp training and all weeks of programming
• Compensation: $13 / hour

• Please note: Camp locations may change weekly. All staff must have reliable transportation to get to site each day.

• Campers and staff of all backgrounds and gender identities are welcome at camp.
• We are a phone‑free and nut‑free working environment.
• Extended Employment Opportunities: Quarterback and Running Back / Wide Receiver small‑group lessons Monday – Friday from 3:15 - 4:00 pm (paid at $30 per lesson).

What You’ll Do

• Lead a group of 10–12 campers of a similar age through daily football drills, games, activities, and active play, bringing energy, creativity, and intention to every moment.
• Deliver the provided curriculum and activity plans to ensure a consistent, high‑quality camp experience, while finding opportunities to elevate the experience through traditions, themed moments, and Falcons‑inspired touchpoints.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where campers feel safe, encouraged, and excited to participate, ensuring each camper feels like part of the team.
• Motivate campers through positive energy, clear communication, and hands‑on leadership, setting a tone that is fun, focused, and authentically Falcons.
• Build strong, authentic relationships with campers by supporting their confidence, developing their love for the game, and fostering a sense of belonging and community throughout the camp week.
• Uphold all camp safety, supervision, and behavioral expectations throughout the day.
• Work collaboratively with fellow coaches and site leadership to support daily camp flow and create unforgettable, premium camp moments.
• Assist with transitions, group movement, arrival and dismissal, and daily camp operations, proactively stepping in where needed to keep camp running smoothly and safely.
• Represent the Atlanta Falcons and Headfirst with professionalism, enthusiasm, and pride, bringing the Falcons experience to life for campers and families.

• Comfortable leading and supervising a small group of campers throughout the day.
• Reliable, coachable, and open to learning through training, feedback, and collaboration.
• Safety‑minded, adaptable, and calm in active, fast‑paced environments.
• Dedicated to the camp’s mission, program quality, and a supportive team environment for the full camp season.
• Able to remain upright and standing for multiple hours at a time, walk and/or run quickly around large outdoor grass and dirt‑covered fields, and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of sports equipment.
• Committed to adhering to and enforcing the camp’s Cell‑Phone Free policy, powering down and putting away cell phones for the duration of your shift.
