Support to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be located in our factory of Galindo (Bilbao, Spain).
How you will make an impact
Manage purchasing of materials and logistics services according to technical specifications, price, and delivery requirements.
Initiate and process purchase orders in line with standard procedures.
Negotiate agreements with key suppliers and maintain updated price lists, terms, and conditions.
bid and proposal teams with relevant market insights.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, and lead times.
Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.
Ensure supplier orders meet customer requirements for quality, delivery, sustainability, and cost.
Promote safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and fostering a caring work environment.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain & Logistics Management, preferably as a Buyer for electrical, mechanical, or service supplies.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Standard Operating Procedures; SAP and Office 365 knowledge preferred.
Valid work permit for Spain.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, and ability to balance internal and external stakeholders.
Technical bachelor’s degree (Industrial or Electrical Engineering) is a plus but not mandatory
