About the job

Our client is one of the largest toy and game manufacturers in the world, making the best fantasy miniatures anywhere! On their behalf we are looking for a new Business Development Manager for DutchMarket to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business leads within their assigned territory. This includes identifying potential customers, making numerous cold calls, and persuading them to consider our products. The role also involves sending samples to interested prospects and following up to convert them into stockists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Search for new leads within the assigned territory, requiring only the shop name and phone number.
  • Make a high volume of cold calls (over 50 a day) to potential customers to introduce the client's products and secure their interest.
  • Send sample packs to potential customers who express interest.
  • Follow up with recipients of the sample packs to convince them to join stockist programme.
Requirements
  • Fluent Dutch language (written and spoken)
  • English at C1 level and higher (written and spoken)
  • Possession of a driving licence
  • Possession of a valid residence permit for Spain or a EU member state citizenship (a must)
  • Prior cold calling experience is a must
  • Residing in Barcelona or willing to relocate for this role (relocation subsidy will be offered)
Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, approximately 9 AM to 5 PM, with variations based on your territory. The position is onsite at our client's office in Barcelona city centre.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary of EUR 35,000.
  • Uncapped bonus potential with an additional EUR 4,200 for meeting regular targets.
