Business Development – Banking & Financial Institutions (Europe)

About the Role
Join an ambitious international expansion project revolutionizing credit‑rating solutions across Europe. As a Business Development, you'll develop new business opportunities and manage sales of rating products to banks and financial institutions.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Master’s degree (e.g., in Finance, Corporate Banking, Business Development) or an MBA is highly desirable.
- 3–7 years of B2B business development or sales experience, ideally in financial services, banking, risk analysis, or credit‑rating.
- Proven network within European banking/financial institutions is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients across Europe’s banking and financial sectors.
- Lead consultative sales processes to close deals with senior decision-makers.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships, anticipating and responding to evolving client needs.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Credit-Analytics teams to design tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, client meetings, and sector events.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluent English; proficiency in additional European languages is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, goal-oriented, and comfortable navigating complex sales cycles.
- Strong analytical aptitude—data-informed decision-making is essential.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and autonomy handling targets.
Preferred Attributes
- Master’s degree / MBA.
- Certifications in credit analysis or financial risk.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot).
