Role
We’re looking to hire a superstar to work across Business Development & Partnerships. You will lead our supplier partnerships, with a sharp focus on the French market. Your mission is simple but critical : secure supply of second-hand vehicles for Rhyde to drive circularity efforts in urban mobility. You will be the key person ensuring that used vehicles stay out of landfills and on the roads for as long as possible. That means calling, meeting, and closing with retailers, brands, manufacturers, and stores, and convincing them why partnering with Rhyde to upcycle their used fleets is the future.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk role. You’ll spend your time on the phone, in meetings, and on the move, creating real partnerships that fuel our growth. You’ll be working directly with management to shape our scaling strategy for the next years.
What You’ll Do
- Identify, approach, and close supplier partnerships in France and across Europe.
- Build relationships with retailers, brands, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
- Sell Rhyde’s story : why circularity in micromobility is a win for them and for the planet.
- Design creative partnership structures that make it easy and attractive for suppliers to work with us.
- Proactively generate leads from your own research, outreach, and network.
- Own and deliver against ambitious KPIs, reporting directly to the leadership team.
- Help define our European expansion strategy as a core member of the growth team.
Who You Are
- We’re not looking for someone who just “manages accounts.” We’re looking for a hunter — someone who gets energy from chasing opportunities, opening doors, and closing deals.
- Fluent French speaker (native-level) and fluency in English (Spanish and / or German is a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or B2B sales, or a demonstrable interest in pursuing a career in this field.
- A self-starter who doesn’t wait for instructions. You spot opportunities and act on them independently.
- Relentless and resourceful: you’ll pick up the phone, knock on doors, send 20 messages if needed.
- Comfortable working with uncertainty and autonomy; you make things happen with little structure.
- Thick-skinned : rejection doesn’t slow you down, it motivates you.
- Keen interest in urban mobility and the circular economy.
- A true team player who knows when to push, when to listen, and how to collaborate with different personalities.
