Business Analyst – Technical Focus

Madrid - hybrid role - 12 days p / quarter onsite in Madrid Office

We’re looking for a Business Analyst who’s comfortable working close to the tech. Someone who can take a business need, break it down, and work with developers and architects to turn it into something solid, scalable, and easy to maintain.

If you enjoy digging into how systems fit together — APIs, microservices, databases — and you like being the person who keeps everyone aligned, you’ll fit in well here.

What you’ll be doing

• Working with stakeholders to understand what the business needs
• Turning those needs into clear, workable requirements for the tech teams
• Helping design and shape solutions across microservices and API-driven systems
• Looking at database logic and queries to spot issues or improvements
• Defining API specs and making sure integrations behave as they should
• Supporting testing across APIs, databases, and service interactions
• Taking part in sprint planning, backlog discussions, and general Agile routines
• Making sure what’s being built matches how the business actually works

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a BA in a technical environment
• Good understanding of microservices, APIs (REST / SOAP), and system integrations
• Comfortable working with SQL / PLSQL
• Strong requirements gathering skills
• Solid exposure to Agile teams and tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, Postman, etc.
• Able to explain technical ideas in simple terms
• Someone who can juggle priorities without getting flustered
