Formación

• 2-3 years experience as Onboard Railways Engineer or similar.
• Technical knowledge in system design and Installation Verification.
• Command of English: fluent in conversation and writing.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your on‑board design expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a fully functional ATC On‑Board System Description & Installation Proposal, noticing the differences with standard solution applying the specific rules and requirements for the project, establishing its hardware / software configuration and application data features.
• Day‑to‑day, work closely with teams across the business (RAMS, validation).
• Develop the interfacing with the rest of systems of the project and with Test & Commissioning team until the commissioning of the whole system is done and much more.
• Liaise with other teams for a correct communication of the design requirements and decisions to be assessed, tested, or demonstrated.

Qualifications

• University degree (MEng) preferably in engineering related to electric, electronic or automation processes.
• 2 or 3 years with experience as Onboard Railways Engineer or similar in other markets.
• Desirable: Technical knowledge — Signalling, ERTMS, CBTC, TCMS, MVB, ATP, ATO, SIFA, system design, Installation design, Installation Verification, Data Preparation.
• Desirable: Knowledge on UNISIG Subsets, especially Subset‑026, 108, 027 & 076 is an advantage.
• Command of English: fluent in conversation and mastered in reading and writing.
• French desirable.
• CAD (electric / mechanical) application usage is an advantage.
