A leading European manufacturer is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal. In this role, you will develop market strategies and engage with distribution partners. Responsibilities include customer interaction, developing marketing plans, and managing sales activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in business development with distributors and possess strong communication skills in English. This position allows remote work from Spain, needing good initiative and independence.

Formación

Area Sales Manager – Spain & Portugal

Join SCANGRIP as Area Sales Manager for Spain and Portugal. Are you driven by innovation and success?

As a satellite to our Head Office in Denmark, you will continue developing the Spanish and Portuguese markets, representing Europe's leading manufacturer of LED work lights.

SCANGRIP A/S develops and manufactures LED work lights for professional use and is today the market leader in many European countries.

We build our business together with local distribution partners.

To develop the market in Spain and Portugal, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager located in Spain who can work from home and in close cooperation with our HQ in Denmark.

SCANGRIP already has business with distribution partners, but there is very good potential for our products.

Our products are used in many segments such as Automotive, Industry and Construction.

Responsibilities

Your daily work will focus on:

  • Customer interaction – we expect that you spend 60%–70% of your time on external sales activities.
  • Develop sales and marketing plans with and for your distributors / dealers.
  • Joint visits together and product training with your distributors / dealers.
  • Participate in local and international fairs.
  • Reporting to head office in Denmark.
  • Manage accounts in Central and South America remotely, which may fall under the responsibility of the Area Sales Manager.
Qualifications
  • Experience in developing business with distributors / dealers.
  • Strong key account profile with a strategic approach.
  • Ability to work both on a strategic level and directly with dealers and end-users.
  • Good experience in using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Professional level of English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrating drive, initiative, and the ability to work independently is essential.
