Formación

Job Description

A vacancy for an Air Supply Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus AOSL in Getafe, Madrid.

The successful applicant will join the IYVSE department as part of the In Service Programs team.

Responsibilities

The accountabilities and responsibilities of the Air Supply Systems Engineer are:

  • Participate in the different investigations related to In Service events and topics, within Air Supply Systems scope (EBAS, PADS, OHDS) ensuring the Continuous Airworthiness of the equipment and system under the responsibility of the ATA 36 Design Office.
  • Be part of the new Equipment and system modifications under ATA 36 perimeter as part of continuous improvement of the Design, taking care of Design definition in liaison with external equipment suppliers and defining validation, verification and qualification strategies.
  • Contribute to all ATA 36 technical deliverables for a specific Program in accordance with the applicable requirements and in particular responsible of ensuring TCQP (Time, Cost, Quality, Performance).
  • Responsible for ensuring that all projects of a specific Program within the ATA36 perimeter are executed according to the relevant development processes (ABD0200, DARE, TRL process, etc).
  • Contribute to ensure consistency within a specific Program and liaises with the relevant external suppliers (equipment manufacturers, etc), and internal stakeholders (Chief Engineer, Customer Services, Airworthiness, etc).
  • Responsible for all technical topics under his/her perimeter, as agreed by the relevant Self Organized Team.
Qualifications
  • University degree in Engineering with at least 7 years of experience.
  • Experience in Aircraft Systems (more than two systems is appreciated).
  • Experience in Customer Service and / or Flight Test / FAL.
  • Experience in the Aircraft Operations and In Service topics (MISP, ISO, etc).
  • Experience in dealing with external suppliers.
  • Equipment and Systems Definition, Validation, Verification & Qualification.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish. French and / or German is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Motivation and willingness to learn.
  • Agile Approach.
