Job summary
A specialized recruitment agency is seeking an experienced SAP Commerce Architect to lead the architectural definition for a multi-storefront B2C platform in a fully remote role. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in SAP Commerce (Hybris) and a strong integration background with SAP S/4HANA. Fluent German communication is mandatory. This freelance position offers a competitive day rate of €750-€800 and is set to commence in February 2026.

The project centres on the redesign and optimization of the client’s SAP Commerce (Hybris) landscape. You will lead the architectural definition for a multi-storefront, high-traffic B2C platform, ensuring scalability, performance and integration with SAP S/4HANA and surrounding systems. You’ll work closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to create a modern, stable digital commerce environment.
- Proven expertise as an SAP Commerce (Hybris) Architect, including high-level solution design and platform optimisation.
- Strong integration background across SAP Commerce, SAP S/4HANA, and modern API/microservice architectures.
- Native or fluent German communication skills (mandatory).
- Define the target architecture and lead solution design across SAP Commerce and its integrations.
- Guide development teams, review technical deliverables, and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical plans.
