A visual effects company in Stuttgart is seeking a Previz Animator to design pre-visualized shots for film and TV projects. The role requires a strong understanding of cinematic composition, character animation skills, and proficiency in software such as Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects. Ideal candidates will interpret creative direction and apply shooting methodologies effectively. Join a creative team in a dynamic production environment.
PXO's Previz Animators work under the guidance of the Lead Visualization Artist and/or Supervisor in the design of pre-visualized shots and sequences for film and TV projects. Their work supports the visual development of a project from concept through to production and VFX. In their work, they help to define shot composition, staging, lighting, and camera language, including movement, lens choice, and framing for a film or TV show. They also create technical information (Techvis) in diagram form or animated schematics in order to help inform the shoot. They may also support postvis teams during the editorial process, by integrating and compositing animation or CG elements into live action plates using either After Effects or Nuke.
