About the Role

At Essity we are going through our Digital transformation based on S4HANA and other SAP products. We have a Global template which has been piloted, and we are now rolling it out to countries across the world.

As an IT Senior Project Manager - SAP, you will be part of the central Project Delivery team and you play a pivotal role in the successful roll-out of our Global template across geographies. You will lead multi-functional teams, manage project scope, resources, budget, risks, and timelines, and ensures successful delivery of project objectives in strong alignment with strategic objectives and business requirements.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage SAP IT projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, risks, and change management.

• Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, etc.) to drive successful outcomes.

• Lead multi-functional IT project teams consisting of internal or external resources, typically from 3-10 different stakeholder groups or organizational areas, leveraging internal expertise to ensure collaboration and alignment.

• Manage project communications to ensure timely updates, informed decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.

• Track and report on key project metrics, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and stay within scope and budget.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, timelines, financials, and status reports throughout the project lifecycle.

Who You Are

• Minimum 5 years of proven leadership managing moderate to large size complexity SAP S4 HANA implementation and roll-out projects.

• Record of developing, tracking and reporting project plans, schedules for medium to large complexity projects.

• Extensive experience in project management methodologies & tools and ability to adapt. Preferably experience in SAP Activate methodology.

• Skilled at proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies at project level.

• Knowledge of managing vendor/third-party contracts.

• Skilled in managing project budget/costs and financial forecasting for medium to high complexity projects.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
