Java Software Developer jobs in Germany

• A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a comparable technical field
• First hands-on experience with common programming languages — ideally Java, Python, or C++/C#
• Initial experience integrating LLMs via APIs
• Very good understanding of how current LLMs work, including their strengths and challenges
• Enthusiasm for complex systems and the ambition not only to develop software, but to deeply understand it, test it, and continuously improve it
• Interest in Software Engineering, software project management, application development, cloud solutions, or data solutions
• Willingness to travel for national client assignments within the DACH region
• Business-fluent German and fluent English skills

• LLM integration: Design use cases, integrate powerful LLMs into software solutions, improve prompting and guardrails, and bring solutions safely into production for our client
• Application design: Design tailored software applications — from requirements and architecture to a production-ready solution
• Implement, test, and evolve robust backends, microservices, and APIs (REST/GraphQL/...)
• Establish clean code principles and conduct code and architecture reviews.
• Use agile software development methods to extend existing solutions and ensure correct technical implementation.
