Job Overview:
As a SAP Business Manager, you will manage a team of employees in the DACH region, mainly Germany & Austria.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage goal setting, goal achievement, and performance of team members; support their career progression through appropriate assignments, development needs, and training opportunities.
Develop the organization by ensuring the right mix of skills and team members, and by identifying future work areas.
Act as Staffing Manager for:
All non-fixed bid demand (receive requests, validate with customers, and consult where required).
All fixed-bid projects and project management work, estimating resource needs, and sourcing from own team or other centers.
Serve as Escalation Manager for all projects in your scope, ensuring creation of ROMs, RFPs, and SOWs.
Support the Client Manager in developing new business models within your responsibility area.
Continuously challenge and improve delivery to clients.
Oversee various technical groups and be responsible for their overall delivery.
Own the S&OP (demand and supply planning) process.
Skills and Competencies:
Client engagement: Build and manage client relationships to resolve delivery issues and act as SPOC for service outcomes.
Industry knowledge: Understand market trends and the client’s strategic direction.
SAP Portfolio knowledge: Fully understand DXC’s portfolio and manage capability-related work.
Prospecting and qualifying SAP leads: Leverage client relationships to identify emerging opportunities.
Account SAP plan: Align productivity and cost optimization with business needs and communicate with clients.
Deploy and expand: Drive continuous improvements, oversee risk management, and handle urgent tasks.
Leadership: Lead a diverse team of employees and suppliers to meet DXC requirements.
