To strengthen our application team we are currently looking for a Application Scientist SC-XRD (m/w/d) in Karlsruhe, Germany.

• determining customer requirements through technical sales consulting
• maintaining and channeling communication between customers and the company
• measuring, reporting, and presenting results on customer samples
• providing application input for system integrations and products developments
• planning and conducting customer visits to the applications department
• technical advice and support of service groups deployed on-site in problem cases
• choosing and compiling suitable application data for marketing materials

• Master or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geosciences or related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in X-ray diffraction
• advanced background in single-crystal X-ray diffraction and hands-on experience with X-ray instruments
• flexibility, communication, and teamwork skills are required
• ability and willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) to customer sites and scientific meetings
• result-oriented work approach and self-organization capabilities
• fluent in English
