A leading pharmaceutical company in Bad Homburg is seeking a Quality Assurance – Operational Excellence Lead to drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of quality control systems. This full-time position plays a key role in strategic quality projects across global operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years’ practical experience in pharmaceutical quality with substantial plant operations and GMP expertise.
- Proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- High IT affinity and fluency in English; Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong plus.

Lead the development and deployment of Operational Excellence strategies to align with company-wide goals.
Serve as the gatekeeper for all quality-related projects, ensuring alignment and progress across business units.
Conduct business case evaluations and oversee project execution, keeping a keen eye on impact and completeness.
Manage Leadership Programs in a multi-project environment, focusing on efficiency and digital transformation.
Establish governance and best practices for strategic quality projects, ensuring effective decision-making and communication.
Design and coordinate capability-building programs, including curriculum development and trainer supervision.
Promote collaboration with regional and global stakeholders to drive and sustain quality improvement initiatives.
Champion Lab Excellence and contribute to the enhancement of local Quality Management Systems.
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum of 10 years’ practical experience in pharmaceutical quality, with substantial plant operations and GMP expertise .
Proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional change management.
Comprehensive knowledge of Lab Excellence programs and quality control systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and integrity, with the ability to inspire and collaborate across teams.
High IT affinity and fluency in English; Lean Six Sigma certification is a strong plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and deliver actionable business insights.
Flexible, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed to support organizational objectives .
