A fast-growing European renewable energy business is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong background in solar PV to join their German operations. With a significant pipeline of distributed energy projects across rooftop, ground-mounted, and AgriPV systems - and ambitions to become a market leader in the sector - the company offers the opportunity to be part of an agile, high-growth environment at the forefront of energy transition.

This role sits within the senior team and offers cross-functional exposure across the organisation. You’ll be central to the technical delivery of commercial and industrial energy systems, supporting both project development and execution, while also engaging in portfolio management and origination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical modelling and analysis for solar and BESS proposals

Oversee project design, layout, and delivery from concept to execution

Develop business cases and advise on technical and financial optimisation

Monitor regulatory, technological, and cost developments

Support sales teams and partners with technical input and project structuring

Lead technical due diligence and risk assessments

Provide oversight during construction, commissioning, and O&M phases

Assist in contractor selection and performance evaluation

Contribute to financial modelling and investment documentation

Support portfolio performance analysis and optimisation initiatives

Profile Sought:

Degree in engineering (electrical, environmental, or related fields)

Experience in renewable energy, ideally with a focus on distributed solar PV

Solid technical expertise across PV system design, implementation, and performance analysis
