Our App Team is a group of enthusiastic and skilled engineers responsible for the iOS and Android applications of our e-commerce platformfluege.de. We're seeking a strategic, people-focusedTeam Lead IT – App Development (m/f/d) for our offices inLeipzig or Berlin. You'll bring leadership experience, a strong product mindset, and sufficient technical background (e.g., previous roles as Developer, Technical Product Owner, or similar) to effectively guide, challenge, and support the team—without necessarily writing code yourself.

Your tasks

• Empower your team to take ownership and make independent decisions within an agile environment
• Foster strong collaboration within the team and across key stakeholders such as UI/UX, Product, and Platform Engineering
• Facilitate productive technical discussions with a critical yet constructive perspective on quality, scalability, and user impact
• Actively shape our leadership culture and contribute to evolving an agile mindset across the organization

Your profile

• Proven experience leading agile teams in mobile or frontend app development - ideally with a Product Owner background, technical product management experience, or previous hands-on development experience
• Solid understanding of technical concepts, enabling confident leadership and effective communication with engineers and stakeholders
• Strong affinity for excellent user experiences, working closely with UI/UX and Product teams to deliver meaningful solutions
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with empathy, proactivity, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Comfortable with change and experienced in leading teams through periods of growth and transformation
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
