A leading research institute in Tübingen is looking for a System Administrator to focus on user support and further develop IT services. The role involves maintaining systems, providing first-level support, and participating in IT projects. Candidates should have a qualification in IT and experience with various operating systems. The Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems (MPI-IS) seeks to advance intelligent systems that perceive, learn, and interact through fundamental research across computational, physical, and social dimensions. We shape artificial intelligence and robotics to advance knowledge and benefit society. The institute takes a highly interdisciplinary approach that combines mathematics, computation, engineering, materials science, and biology.
For our interdepartmental user support and the further development of our institute’s IT services, we are looking for:

Your tasks include:
The position will be located in the Tübingen site of our institute as part of the IT service group. Salaries and contracts will be based on previous experience according to the Public Service Wage Agreement (TVöD) guidelines. This is a full-time position. The position is initially limited to two years with the possibility of a transition into a permanent position.
