We are supporting a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry with a large global presence in their search for a talented Supply Chain Manager to join their team and help take on a global view with the responsibility to support a central team providing an overview of all supply chain related topics globally.

This role is perfect for supply chain professionals looking to expand their scope of responsibilities by taking ownership of global processes while working cross-functionally with regional teams in both the US and Asian markets as well as local teams. The ideal personality is someone who is very proactive, can act and make decisions without relying on being directed and a strong character who can lead and push change forward.

Key responsibilities:

• Optimisation and monitoring the entire value chain
• Reporting DSI targets, supporting demand planning as well as raw material procurement.
• Identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement strategies to alleviate them.
• Contribute to maximising the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the supply chain.

Key Skills:

• Fluent German is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in supply management and/or production planning.
• Strong experience in SAP and other related supply chain software.
• Completed studies in engineering, logistics or a similar related field.
