In the department High-performance materials, we focus on thermoplastic fiber-reinforced plastics (FRP). Compared to conventional materials, these are characterized by their high mechanical strength and chemical resistance combined with low weight. As a student assistant you support our team with the development of systems and processes for winding and laying thermoplastic tapes and also gain insight into current research projects and industrial applications. In addition, you will assist in the preparation and execution of production trials.

The job requires regular attendance at our institute in Aachen. The weekly working time is at least 12 hours. The earliest start date is in February 2026.
