The Station Ops Coordinator role is a key position within TUI Airline's Ground Operations team, where you'll ensure safe, efficient and customer-focused airport operations through effective management of third-party suppliers.

ABOUT THE JOB
- You will supervise daily TUI operations at dedicated airports, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient, on-time, and customer-focused Ground Operations processes.
- We’ll rely on you to build expertise in our in-house Departure Control System, acting as an escalation point for suppliers with advice and queries.
- Your responsibilities include monitoring operational SLAs and KPIs with third-party suppliers through regular checks and reporting.
- As part of the role, you’ll complete quality assurance performance reviews and support investigations of incidents and safety reports.
- Managing relationships with airport authorities and government agencies will be a key aspect of your daily responsibilities.
- Working closely with relevant teams, you’ll provide subject matter expertise to ensure Ground Operations initiatives are successfully delivered at airports.
- Good working knowledge of TUI procedure and processes including the GOM
- You will also assist in identifying opportunities for change and improvement by third party suppliers, participating when required in the development and implementation of improvement programs.
- You will participate in and support any daily calls with suppliers by evaluating the actual operations during your duty.
- You will manage either directly or through 3rd party suppliers the delivery of a high level of customer experience and service to all passengers at airports within your area of responsibility.
- Deputize for the Station Account Manager and/or Station Ops Lead Coordinator (if applicable) in external/internal meetings.
- Contributing to project working groups that may have an impact on your station operations
ABOUT YOU
- You have proven experience in aviation ground handling and monitoring third-party suppliers to achieve required performance.
- We're looking for a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and works collaboratively within diverse international teams.
- You possess excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and develop a comprehensive network throughout local operations.
- Your structured thinking enables you to generate ideas while ensuring full regulatory compliance is maintained.
- You can clearly articulate concepts both verbally and in written documentation, with strong business English and knowledge of the local language relevant to your assigned airport.
- The ability to audit processes for compliance and successfully investigate and resolve any breaches is essential for this position.
