Role and Responsibilities

• Source potential suppliers for specific component/material categories
• Introduce and promote competitive companies/solutions that meet HQ R&D and Procurement requirements
• Evaluate companies based on technology, quality, cost, and supply capabilities
• Develop relationships with innovative technology companies
• Guide and support companies to meet Samsung’s supplier standards
• Proactively identify and propose high-potential suppliers for evaluation, contributing to project and design wins
• Conduct market, competitor, technology, and supply chain research; create and deliver Market Intelligence reports in Korean to HQ
• Assist HQ colleagues with supply troubleshooting, business meetings, visits, events, and fairs
• Perform market research, supplier scouting, technical evaluation, proposal development, and sample procurement
• Negotiate prices and business terms, conduct audits, manage contracts, verify supply chains, and handle vendor registrations

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in STEM from a reputable university; internship experience preferred, limited to 2 years of career experience
• High proficiency in Korean and English, both written and spoken; excellent communication skills for persuasion and influence
• Organizational and technical skills, commercially savvy, up-to-date with consumer electronics trends, with a solid understanding of technical concepts
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; capable of data analysis and creating reader-centric reports and presentations
• Energetic, outgoing team player with a proactive attitude; comfortable making cold calls and approaching new contacts; eager for challenges and self-development
