Your Responsibilities:
In this key leadership role, you will take overall responsibility for the areas of Controlling, Finance, Tax, and Group Controlling. Your main tasks include:
- Leadership of the entire Finance & Controlling organization
- Ensuring timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Overall responsibility for internal and external financial reporting in accordance with HGB and US-GAAP
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, multi-year planning, reporting, and KPI frameworks
- Driving process and methodological improvements as well as efficiency gains through digitalization and automation
- Responsibility for Treasury, including cash and liquidity management, as well as trade finance activities
- Managing all tax-related matters (VAT, income tax, withholding tax, etc.), including international topics such as permanent establishments and transfer pricing
- Development and enhancement of the Tax Compliance Management System
- Supporting international expansion by integrating new subsidiaries into group reporting
- Participation in M&A activities, group restructurings, and organizational developments
- Preparation of the consolidated financial statements under HGB
- Developing and implementing a measurable Finance & Controlling strategy aligned with overall corporate strategy
- Ensuring financial compliance, particularly adherence to J-SOX requirements
- Acting as the primary point of contact for banks, auditors, tax advisors, and authoritiesn
- Serving as a central sparring partner to the executive management

Your Profile:
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Auditing, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in the finance function of an internationally operating industrial or plant engineering company, ideally in a corporate environment
- Excellent knowledge of HGB, US-GAAP, and tax regulations
- Experience with SOX/ICS, financial compliance, and global corporate policies
- Proficient in ERP and BI systems, ideally SAP, Power BI, and LucaNet
- Expertise in trade finance, treasury, and international financial structures
- Strong background in consolidated financial statements and intercompany processes; ideally also in M&A, integration of new entities, and supporting international finance teams
- High digital affinity and ideally experience in the automation of finance processes
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Experience in leading transformation and change processes
- Strong analytical abilities, process-oriented thinking, and excellent communication skills
- Hands‑on mentality, strong results orientation, and willingness to actively engage in key topics
