Your responsibilities

At AlphaPet Ventures we are driven by the vision of making healthy pet food the new standard.

To further professionalise our digital processes and make our e-commerce platforms future‑proof we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the architecture and development of our central Odoo‑based ERP system and to drive innovation through the use of AI.

Design and develop sophisticated solutions for our Odoo‑based ERP system, optimise existing modules and ensure their stability, efficiency and scalability.

Implement strategic ERP projects, evaluate the technical feasibility of requirements from tickets and collaborate closely with Product Owners.

Manage the entire release process, handle branch management (Git), monitor the CI / CD pipeline and communicate releases to all stakeholders.

Write clean, maintainable code; ensure quality through comprehensive testing and promote high standards in the team through code reviews.

Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and apply your knowledge of AI tools to optimise our development and business processes.

Your profile

At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on backend or ERP systems.

Solid hands‑on experience in developing with Odoo and the OCA framework is essential.

Proven experience in using AI tools for process optimisation, code review or system improvement.

Excellent knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL and confident handling of Git, Docker and CI / CD pipelines.

Strong commitment to sustainable software architecture, clean code and a solution‑oriented mindset.

Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
