In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through a mix of proactive outreach, lead generation, and cross-selling to existing clients. Your primary responsibility will be identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to foster long-term partnerships and drive revenue growth in the DACH region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
  • Drive new business acquisition through cold outreach, inbound leads, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Document and record client interactions in Salesforce, ensuring proper follow-up and communication within the sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience from prospecting to onboarding.
  • Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, including PRN CS & Operations, and client visibility reports.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in the DACH region.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a New Business role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Highly motivated individual with a demonstrated history of success in sales or business development.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment (Cision Germany Sales Team and PRN CS & Operations in the UK).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Enthusiasm for the PR and media industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally a CRM system such as Salesforce.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written German and English.
  • Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the media/PR industry is a plus.
