Responsibilities

• Provide consulting during platform introductions for energy sector companies, covering billing, technical equipment, tariffing, market communication, and financial accounting.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for clients during implementation projects, leading workshops and meetings to capture and translate requirements into tailored solutions.
• Collect, assess, prioritize, and shape functional requirements in complex environments, interfacing between business units and IT.
• Plan and oversee functional testing up to production readiness.
• Support project execution in client‑centric roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, Cut‑Over Manager, or Project Lead, and assist project planning for deployment scenarios.

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field – preferably with a focus on energy economics.
• Several years of practical experience in the energy sector or energy‑focused consulting, with a strong foundation in energy networks and supply.
• Knowledge of business processes of transmission network operators and/or measuring device operators.
• Specialist knowledge of at least one of the following areas: Meter2Cash process; grid/tariff billing and tariff building; technical equipment; energy‑sector regulation and legislation; market communication and data exchange (EDIFACT market formats); value‑management and substitution value; counterpart and financial accounting.
• Excellent German language skills (very good), good English.
