Overview

Senior Manager (m/f/d) – Ethernet Switches and Mechanical Design

Place: Neckartenzlingen  |  Type: Hybrid/Full-Time  |  Level: Senior

Responsibilities
  • Disciplinary leadership of two interdisciplinary agile development teams consisting of design, electronics development and testing, as well as product approval and documentation
  • Personnel development and recruitment
  • Responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of design-specific processes and tools
  • Responsibility for the objectives of the product development teams
  • Participation in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of cross-departmental processes across the entire organization
  • Close collaboration with Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, and Quality Management
  • Participation in internal process audits
  • Responsibility for the departmental budget
What you will bring
  • Education – Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
  • Experience – Several years of leadership experience in mechanical design in the development of products with electronic components as well as project management, preferably with agile methods
  • Knowledge & skills – Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), product lifecycle management as well as software tools relevant to mechanical design
  • Personality – Strong ability to communicate and integrate diverse disciplines, motivate individuals and teams, and create a collaborative and supportive work environment
  • Language proficiency – Fluency in English and German
