Senior Director of BDL Digital & DS Alliance Management (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage alliances with external partners to ensure the highest standards and optimal benefits for Bayer
- Oversee project governance and typically participate in Joint Steering Committees (JSC) and similar governance bodies
- Launch new alliance kick-off and integration activities
- Develop strong relationships with counterparts to build trust and serve as an effective communication channel between Bayer and the partner
- Familiarize yourself with major operational issues related to the alliance
- Facilitate dispute avoidance and resolution involving all relevant functions
- As a member of the Bayer BD&L Alliance Management group, help establish a center of internal excellence for managing and improving alliances from all perspectives
- Ensure compliance with divisional and corporate Bayer governance standards
- Participate in alliance management "health checks," joint reviews, and audits
- Give new alliances the best possible start by collaborating with Bayer on new agreements, in-licensing deals, partnerships, alliances, M&A, and divestments
- Establish alliance charters for the alliances you manage
- Proactively familiarize yourself with best external practices and ongoing developments to optimize Alliance Management functions and activities
WHO YOU ARE
- Have an advanced university degree (PhD, MD, or MBA) with in-depth proven experience in data sciences and technology partnering
- Are strongly experienced in alliance management and extensive business development deal experience
- Possess long-term professional experience in digital transformation, healthcare, and technology industries, with a clear track record of successfully leading projects or partnerships with various stakeholders
- Demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and embody the Bayer LIFE values
- Thrive in a global matrix organization and drive complex projects to conclusion
- Show strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Willing to undertake domestic and international travel as an inherent requirement of the role
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
