ABOUT THE TEAM

The BD team, within Anduril’s Growth organisation, is responsible for identifying, shaping, capturing, and growing new opportunities and capabilities for the company. To meet client needs, the team must understand users’ pain points, how current solutions fail to address gaps, and how Anduril products can deliver more effective mission outcomes. BD team members serve as the bridge between clients and the broader Anduril team, conveying client perspectives to other teams and representing the Anduril brand externally. They partner with Anduril Business Lines and the Mission Operations team to ensure that Anduril products exceed client expectations and mission demands, and to drive continuous product improvements in response to evolving client needs and operating environments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Generate and capture business opportunities. The BD team is responsible for growing revenue by developing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective client base, current or planned programmatic and technical roadmaps, and the competitive landscape. This informs capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and technology development plans. You will manage continuous engagements with current and future clients, generate growth strategies, and monitor buying cycles for opportunities.
  • Cultivate and foster partner relationships. As Anduril expands in Europe, you will proactively manage and create accountability mechanisms in B2B relationships, develop teaming and partnership agreements with Anduril’s Corporate Development team and European companies, and drive business forward through capture with partners.
  • Grow existing business. You will partner with the Mission Operations team to grow business with current clients, including expanding work and leveraging partnerships to explore new opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Communicate our value to clients. You will represent Anduril to clients, partners, competitors, and the public, projecting the company’s ethos and illustrating our approach to building next-generation defense technology and our competitive edges.
  • Inform product development. You will translate client problem sets to the engineering organization, providing clarity to inform priorities, milestones, and communications. Your assessments will inform new product decisions and ongoing engagement will yield input that helps ensure Anduril’s product suite is best-in-class.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to obtain and hold a German Ü2 (Secret) clearance.
  • Ability to travel 25 – 75% required.
  • Prior industrial or military experience is essential.
  • Robust knowledge of German and EU legal frameworks as it relates to defense and technology projects.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with complex systems involving hardware and software.
  • Experience with German government business development, government contract structures, government proposal processes is a plus.
  • Experience managing complex technical government projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI and autonomous systems is a plus.
  • Comfortable with setting and achieving goals in a complex environment.
  • STEM degree is a plus.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and business considerations. Equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are part of Anduril's total compensation package. Anduril offers comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.
