Aufgaben

Als Senior Clinical Data Manager übernehmen Sie eine zentrale Rolle im Datenmanagement für klinische Studien in unterschiedlichen therapeutischen Bereichen. Sie sind die erste Ansprechperson für alle datenbezogenen Fragen innerhalb des Studienteams und stellen sicher, dass Daten korrekt und vollständig für die Analyse und Einhaltung der Studienprotokolle bereitstehen. Dabei arbeiten Sie in einem internationalen, englischsprachigen Team, während Sie gleichzeitig mit deutschen Daten und Kunden arbeiten. Gerne begrüßen wir Sie in unserem modernen Büro in Münster, aber auch eine vollständige Tätigkeit aus dem Homeoffice/remote ist möglich.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Verantwortung für die Koordination aller Datenmanagement-Aktivitäten und studienspezifische Schulungen.
• Schnittstelle zu Projektmanagement, Statistik und Monitoring; Sicherstellung klarer Kommunikation und Einhaltung von Zeitplänen.
• Prüfung und Erstellung wichtiger DM-Dokumente, z.B. Protokolle, Datenmanagementpläne und CRFs.
• Durchführung von Qualitätsprüfungen und Erstellung von QA-Zusammenfassungen vor dem Datenbankschluss.
• Unterstützung bei der Datenprüfung und medizinischen Codierung in Zusammenarbeit mit Medical Affairs.
• Teilnahme an Sponsor-Meetings und Konferenzen zur Vertretung des Datenmanagements.
• Unterstützung bei Datenbank-Review und User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
  

Profil

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikation; Bachelor-Abschluss wünschenswert.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in einem datenzentrierten Umfeld und in der Anwendung medizinischer Fachterminologie.
• Über 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der pharmazeutischen Industrie oder in einem verwandten Bereich.
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Microsoft Word, Excel, SAS sowie Erfahrung mit IRT-Systemen (IWRS/IVRS).
• Erfahrung mit Vendor Data Transfers, Reconciliation und Internet-Recherchetools.
• Ausgezeichnete organisatorische und kommunikative Fähigkeiten; GCP-Training von Vorteil.
• Teamfähigkeit, Detailorientierung und Sensibilität für interdisziplinäre und interkulturelle Zusammenarbeit.

Your mission

As a Senior Clinical Data Manager, you will play a central role in data management for clinical studies in various therapeutic areas. You will be the first point of contact for all data-related questions within the study team and ensure that data is correct and complete for analysis and compliance with study protocols. You will work in an international, English-speaking team, while at the same time working with German data and customers. We would be happy to welcome you in our modern office in Münster, but full remote working is also possible.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility for the coordination of all data management activities and study-specific training.
• Interface with project management, statistics and monitoring; ensure clear communication and adherence to timelines.
• Review and create key DM documents, e.g. protocols, data management plans and CRFs.
• Performing quality checks and producing QA summaries prior to database closure.
• Assist with data review and medical coding in collaboration with Medical Affairs.
• Attend sponsor meetings and conferences to represent data management.
• Assist with database review and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  
  

Your profile

• High school garduation or comparable qualification; Bachelor's degree desirable.
• At least 3 years of experience working in a data-centric environment and using medical terminology.
• Over 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related field.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Profound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, SAS and experience with IRT systems (IWRS/IVRS).
• Experience with vendor data transfers, reconciliation and internet research tools.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; GCP training an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team, detail orientation and sensitivity for interdisciplinary and intercultural cooperation.
