Jobbeschreibung

The incumbent will uncover and cultivate business relationships and opportunities to generate revenue with prospective and existing clients for WuXi TIDES in the EU, a WuXi AppTec company. To support the growth of emerging oligo and peptide CMC development and Manufacturing (CDMO) business. The candidate will work within the European TIDES business development team to pursue new business leads, follow up on critical issues, and aid in resolving customer inquiries.

This position is remote / work from home, ideally based in Germany, the Netherlands, or Denmark.

Responsibilities:
  1. Hunting and prospecting for oligo and peptide companies in need of CMC Development and Manufacturing solutions, who would benefit from WuXi TIDES CDMO services.
  2. Obtaining conferences and meetings to represent WuXi TIDES services to prospective and existing clients via email, phone, and web-conferencing systems. Travel to local client meetings when possible.
  3. Participating in tradeshows to raise the profile of WuXi TIDES and generate leads.
  4. Following up on leads from sales and marketing campaigns.
  5. Increasing awareness of WuXi TIDES marketing initiatives, including scheduling meetings at tradeshows and promoting webinars and seminars.
  6. Maintaining knowledge of industry trends, funding, regulatory influences, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, grants, drug development, patent grants, market growth, etc.
  7. Developing a social network of industry contacts via LinkedIn and other platforms.
  8. Proposing new ideas to improve performance towards WuXi TIDES goals.
  9. Documenting information in CRM systems, including contacts, leads, and account details.
Experience / Education:
  • BA / BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry, with professional training or experience in business, marketing, or sales.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in oligo or peptide drug development or CRO/CDMO industry.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • Self-starter, motivated, flexible, with excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with a proven track record managing multiple projects and timelines.
  • Ability to use judgment appropriately in complex situations.
