Job description: Scientific Programmer in deep learning model development (m/f/d/x)
Background: With the project Deepcloud, we will leverage the machine-learning revolution to better understand clouds and their role in the climate system. Our aim is to train a deep learning model on observations and physical models to represent cloud processes across scales from individual turbulent eddies to cloud systems spanning hundreds of kilometers. We will use this fully data-driven model to understand how clouds respond to and influence climate change.
