Overview

We are looking for an experienced S / 4HANA Migration Expert to support a SAP S / 4HANA Private Cloud Edition deployment. This is a fully remote, Germany-based freelance role for one year. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in S / 4HANA transformation projects, custom code analysis, and performance optimization, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations and support implementation.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom code checks, ATC checks, and S / 4HANA readiness assessments.
• Evaluate assessment results and develop actionable recommendations.
• Support developers in custom code remediation and implementation.
• Write clear technical design documents.
• Optimize performance of existing custom code.
• Design, prepare, and execute performance tests.
• Follow ABAP best practices, including ABAP RAP / ABAP Cloud Programming Model (if available).

Required Experience & Skills

• Extensive experience in S / 4HANA transformation projects, specifically SAP S / 4HANA Private Cloud Edition.
• Hands-on experience with custom code remediation and ATC checks for S / 4 migration.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP best practices in SAP Private Cloud.
• Ability to support implementation and optimize performance of existing custom code.

Desirable

• Any experience with SAP BRIM (even partial).
• Exposure to ABAP RAP / ABAP Cloud programming model.
