Responsibilities
- Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
- Driving sales of products, systems, and services within the wholesale market in Germany, aligned with the ELIP division strategy.
- Achieving qualitative and quantitative sales targets, ensuring order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities and managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale operators, EPCs, distributors, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Supporting customers with technical and commercial expertise, ensuring ABB is positioned as a trusted partner delivering value-added solutions.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies and secure long-term growth.
- Collaborating closely with Product Management, Marketing, Service, and other internal functions to deliver integrated solutions and ensure customer success.
Qualifications
- You are highly skilled in applying modern sales methodologies (solution selling, key account management, and CRM-driven processes) and are fully engaged in the electrical wholesale and industrial automation market.
- You have over 10 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, including working as a sales manager with electrical components, cable protection systems, and energy-efficient technologies.
- You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing and Sales, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading customer-focused projects across the DACH region (or equivalent proven experience).
- You are at ease communicating in German and English (both written and spoken).
