Detechgene is aninnovative biotech startup developing molecular rapid testing solutions("PCR to Go") that enable diagnostics directly at the point of need –fast, flexible, and reliable. Our mission is to empower clinics and healthcareproviders to act independently in time-critical situations and overcomediagnostic bottlenecks.

To support ourgrowth, we are looking for a motivated and communicative sales personality whowill actively help bring our products to market – focusing on hospitals,laboratories, and medical institutions.

Tasks
  • Actively approach and support clinics, laboratories, and healthcare providers
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions (on-site and remote)
  • Attend trade fairs, conferences, and delegation trips (e.g., health forums, industry events)
  • Assist with offer preparation, contract negotiations, and follow-ups
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, and the Head of Sales
  • Maintain CRM systems, observe market trends, and provide customer feedback to improve products
Requirements
  • 1–3+ years of experience in sales of medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences
  • Good understanding of the healthcare sector – ideally with experience in clinical or lab settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident in presentations and customer contact
  • Independent, structured work style with strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel (primarily within Germany, occasionally international)
  • Fluent in German, English skills desirable
