We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead commercial growth in the German market. This is a key strategic role focused on executing and shaping the company’s go-to-market strategy, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across sectors such as construction, logistics, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong industrial sales background, a passion for sustainability, and a hands-on approach to business development in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the commercial strategyin Germany, tailoring it to local market dynamics. Maintain a strong presence in the field to identify leads and close deals, ensuring maximized growth and profitability.
  • Contribute to strategic planningby helping define the commercial strategy and develop a differentiated, market-relevant customer value proposition.
  • Identify and analyst market trendssuch as sustainability and operational efficiency. Support customers in leveraging these trends to enhance their competitive positioning, strengthening UBQ’s role as a strategic partner.
  • Develop and execute segment-specific sales action plansaligned with global objectives, using a hands-on approach to drive effective market penetration.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationshipsby acting as a trusted advisor, fostering long-term, profitable partnerships.
  • Monitor market performance, including UBQ’s market share, competitor activities, and total addressable market. Provide insights into pricing and market positioning to support informed decision-making.
  • Deliver consistent and accurate sales forecaststo ensure visibility and control over the commercial pipeline.
  • Promote and deliver technical solutions, contribute to product and service improvements, and manage contract renewals to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
Knowledge & Experience
  • Proven B2B experience, ideally across Construction, Logistics & Supply Chain, Automotive, Retail, and Home & Garden sectors
  • Comprehensive understanding of plastic processing and the broader value chain
  • Strong capability in value-based selling and delivering tailored technical solutions

Education:

Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial or Chemical), ideally with relevance to the plastics sector.

Professional Experience:

5–10 years of commercial experience within industrial environments, preferably within the plastic resins and molding industry, particularly injection molding.

Languages: Proficiency in German and fluency in English are essential.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel extensively (minimum 50% of the time), with flexibility to increase travel as needed to secure business and foster client relationships.
